There is more to your life than simply receiving from God—you were created to release what He has placed within you.

I believe God’s desire for each one of us is to go to a new level and depth in Him. As Christians, God gives us gifts and abilities, and it is a wonderful experience to know Him and encounter His presence. He blesses His children, especially those who seek His face.

But here is the truth: receiving from God is only part of the story.

A life beyond ordinary is found when we begin to use what He has given us.

Called, Gifted, and Anointed for a Purpose

God calls and anoints each of us to be used by Him—and this calling grows as we deepen our relationship with Him.

Scripture reminds us:

“I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God that is in you…” (2 Timothy 1:6–7)

God has already placed something within you—gifts, abilities, and spiritual potential. These are not a mistake or accidental. They are intentional, and they are meant to be activated. Recognizing and using your gifts will lead you to your divine purpose

But gifts that are not used can remain dormant.

You Are Blessed to Be a Blessing

God’s blessing and anointing are not given just for personal comfort—they are given to be shared.

In the upper room, the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit. That experience was powerful—but it didn’t stop there. It flowed outward, resulting in the birth of the early church.

In the same way, God’s work in your life is meant to impact others.

When you step out and use your gifts:

  • Others experience God’s love
  • Faith is strengthened—both yours and theirs
  • God’s Kingdom is advanced

You become a channel, not a container.

Fan the Flame: Your Responsibility Matters

God gives the gift—but we are called to fan it into flame.

This requires:

  • Intentional prayer
  • Faith-filled action
  • Spiritual discipline

It takes courage to step out. It takes faith to move beyond comfort. But it is in that movement that God’s power becomes visible.

Too often, fear and lies hold people back:

  • “I’m not ready.”
  • “What if I fail?”
  • “I’m not good enough.”

But God has not given you a spirit of fear—He has given you power, love, and self-discipline.

Growth Happens in the Process

Using your gifts is a journey.

It’s like a baby learning to walk. At first, there are small steps, uncertainty, and even falls. But through persistence, strength develops—and eventually comes freedom.

If the baby never tries to stand, it will never walk.

In the same way:

  • You grow by stepping out
  • You gain confidence through obedience
  • You experience freedom through faith

Don’t fear the process—embrace it.

Keep Your Eyes on Jesus

As you grow, one thing matters most: focus.

Do not focus on fear.
Do not focus on failure.
Do not focus on comparison.

Keep your eyes on Jesus.

The Holy Spirit is your guide—leading, strengthening, and directing you every step of the way. Even when you feel unsure, He is faithful.

From Self-Focus to Kingdom Impact

We are not anointed for self-centered living—we are anointed for service.

The enemy would prefer you remain stuck:

  • Focused on yourself
  • Afraid to step out
  • Unaware of your potential

But maturity comes when you begin to:

  • Use your gifts
  • Step out in obedience
  • Trust God beyond your comfort

That is where real growth happens.

Run Your Race

God has set a race before you—a unique path, designed specifically for your life.

And He is not distant.

He is present.
He is empowering you.
He is cheering you on.

So take the step.
Fan the flame.
Move forward in faith.

Because a life beyond ordinary is not found in staying safe—it is found in walking fully in what God has placed within you.
